This series of portraits was shot at the WDR Aspen company retreat which took place in Johannesburg, South Africa, September 2025. I’ve named the series ‘Celebration’ because that’s what it felt like to be in attendance; like bearing witness to a celebration of some kind.
Incidentally, one of our colleagues gave birth to her first child on the first day of the retreat, and so perhaps that’s what defined the mood.
All photos were shot on Kodak Gold 200 35mm film.
